A Brazilian Heart, an Irish Home

Olá — I’m Olavo, the founder of Áit Apparel.

I’m originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil: a place known for warmth, community, and deep pride in where you’re from.

When I came to Ireland eight years ago, I felt the same spirit — the humour, the kindness, the local pride.

I’m now raising my half-Irish, half-Brazilian family here, and Ireland has become our true home.

Áit began when I searched for something modern and meaningful to represent the town I lived in —

county-focused, designed well, rooted in real Irish culture — and found nothing that felt right.

So I created it.
